water under the bridge

For my next project- I need your help.
I received a phone call.
After demanding an explanation.
It ended with “I just want to make sure you’re okay, because I don’t want to burn any bridges here.”
I didn’t know how to respond except that if every bridge in the country wasn’t in flames, that would be a miracle. Whatever is left of this theoretical ‘bridge’, I’m here to make sure it’s in ashes. I need your help to help me respond.
I’m interested in that phone call.
We have all had it.

The phone call that determines the fate of a relationship and those awkward moments before the line goes dead and aside from a few drunken “I miss you” text messages, will be the last time you speak.
I want to know what occurs during those uncomfortable and awkward moments. I want to know the most intense, fucked up, lame, redundant sentences you can recall from that former significant other. Those excuses that are said because he’s too afraid to be real with you.
I need to know them.
My goal is to collect as many as possible and give you, the writer, some form of release.

Please take 5 minutes to help your self and help me better come to terms with those in our lives who need to be erased for good.

INSTRUCTIONS: Take a card [2x4] (if you’re in the Los Angeles area I have cards for you) and write it down, draw it, sing it, tape it, video it, burn it, pee on it. I don’t care what you do as long as it provides you with a new found ability to breath easier.

I will keep it completely anonymous. So don’t hold back, they’re yours.

please scan it and send it to MANDY.MITCHELL2@gmail.com or ask me for my address and mail it to me.
I am here to put water underneath that burnt bridge.
